Angela Kolenda is originally from Tescott, Kansas, located. She Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University, and has worked in the Wyandotte County District Attorney’s office for over 21 years as a victim/witness advocate. Her work focused on Child Abuse, Rape and Homicide cases. She has been active member with the Sunflower House Agency sitting on committees for them and raising money. (The Sunflower House is an advocacy center for children of abuse and neglect). A speaker at the Governor’s conference in regards to child abuse. She is also active with the St. Patrick’s Catholic School serving as a board member for CYO and coaching volleyball, and a board member for Leadership 2000 of Wyandotte County.
